Das Seminar widmet sich dem Forschungsparadigma der Intersektionalität als Konzept der Mehrebenenanalyse. Dabei werden grundlegende Ansatzpunkte des Konzeptes nachvollzogen, aber auch der Blick auf detaillierte Debatten der Intersektionalitätsforschung gerichtet. Dies wird nach einer Erweiterung der Debatte um Konzepte von 'Gesundheit' und 'Krankheit' in Verbindung gesetzt mit der gesundheitspolitischen Diskussion. In den verbleibenden Sitzungen der Vorlesungszeit sind Anwendungsbeispiele und erste eigene analytische Übungen angedacht, die den Teilnehmenden ermöglichen sollen, sich dem Forschungsfeld von Intersektionalität und Gesundheit eigenständig anzunähern und Verständnisfragen zu klären.
Die Beteiligung an der fortlaufenden Seminardiskussion wird von den Teilnehmenden erwartet.
