300060 Demokratieförderung als Entwicklungszusammenarbeit? (S) (WiSe 2017/2018)

In diesem Seminar steht eine besondere Art der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit im Fokus, die neben dem klassischen Engagement mit Sozialprogrammen, technischer oder finanzieller Hilfe, zwar nur einen geringen Umfang hat, aber dennoch einen bedeutenden Beitrag zur Bekämpfung einiger Entwicklungsprobleme leisten kann. Politische Stiftungen arbeiten international unter der Zielsetzung, demokratische Strukturen zu stärken.
Wie diese Arbeit aussieht, vor welchen Herausforderungen sie steht und welchen Beitrag die politischen Stiftungen in der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit leisten können, sind Fragen, die in diesem Seminar anhand von Fallbeispielen bearbeitet werden sollen.
