Lineare Algebra ist eine mathematische Hauptdisziplin. Ihre Methoden
und Konzepte sind von grundlegender Bedeutung in allen anderen
mathematischen Disziplinen sowie Anwendungen von Mathematik in den
Naturwissenschaften, etwa Chemie, Physik und Informatik. Aus diesem
Grund ist die Lineare Algebra -- neben der Analysis -- einer der
beiden Hauptpfeiler der mathematischen Grundausbildung.

In der Vorlesung werden wir die Lineare Algebra als die Theorie der
Vektorräume und ihrer strukturerhaltenden Abbildungen
entwickeln. Zentrale Protagonisten sind Körper, Vektorräume, lineare
Abbildungen, Matrizen und (deren) Determinanten.
