Dieses Praktikum soll dem Studierenden Einblick in die experimentelle Laborarbeit geben. Dazu wird aus dem Gebiet der pflanzlichen Genomik eine Aufgabe gestellt, die in der vorgegebenen Zeit gelöst werden kann. Versuchsaufbau sowie experimentelles Vorgehen werden von dem Teilnehmer selbst bestimmt. Ein zugeordneter Betreuer überwacht die einzelnen Schritte und leistet bei auftretenden Schwierigkeiten Hilfestellung. Ziel dieses Praktikums ist es, Teilnehmer an eine selbständige Forschungsarbeit heranzuführen, wie sie später bei Examens- und Diplomarbeiten zu leisten sind. Dieses Praktikum ist für fortgeschrittene Studierende gedacht, die die genetischen Vorlesungen, Seminare und Praktika besucht haben und eine experimentelle Arbeit am Lehrstuhl für Genomforschung planen.
