Element 2: Organisation und Schulentwicklung
Die Schule ist eine Institution, in der bildungspolitische Vorgaben in Praxis umgesetzt und gesellschaftliche Aufgaben realisiert werden. Zu den Aufgaben der Lehrenden gehört es, sich als "institutionelle Akteurin/ institutioneller Akteur" im Namen dieser Institution den Aufgaben anzunehmen. Als teilautonome Institution muss sich die Einzelschule den lokalen Anforderungen und Bedingungen anpassen und ist in zunehmendem Maße auf eine systematische Weiterentwicklung ihrer pädagogischen Kompetenzen und Programme angewiesen. Die Einzelschule muss ihre Qualität durch einen stetigen inneren Reformprozess sichern, indem Innovationen entwickelt, implementiert und institutionalisiert werden. Aus diesem Grund werden in diesem Element grundlegende Kenntnisse der schulischen Organisationsstrukturen, Konzepte und Verfahren der Schulentwicklung vermittelt und die wechselseitigen Bedingungen von Organisations-, Personal- und Unterrichtsentwicklung reflektiert.
