230309 A gentle introduction to R programming language: managing, visualising and analysing data (S) (WiSe 2026/2027)

This course is designed for beginners with no previous knowledge of R. The aim is to get familiar with using basic R commands and scripts. We will cover reading and writing files, creating and accessing folders, R as a calculator, R objects variables, vectors and dataframes and basic plotting functions. We will also cover some basic statistical functions and tests, but will not cover advanced statistical analysis procedures in this course.
