By taking part in this course, you will get to know basic principles of teaching English in primary school with a particular focus on competences as outlined by the current curriculum. For this, we will consider the latest version of the curriculum in detail, focus on the main competences it addresses, and talk about how this could translate into classroom practices. While doing this, we will also keep in mind our individual students' needs and abilities and how to take them into account in our teaching.
