Am 14. August 2026 jährt sich Bertolt Brechts Todestag zum siebzigsten Mal. Dieses Datum ist urheberrechtlich von besonderer Bedeutung, denn zum 1. Januar 2027 werden die Werke Brechts, bei denen er alleiniger Urheber ist, gemeinfrei. Das Ziel des Seminars ist die Erarbeitung eines Brecht-Abends am 2. Februar 2027 in der manufactur Herford. Die Seminargruppe trifft aus aus den Prosastücken, Gedichten und Theaterstücken Brechts eine Auswahl und stellt ein Programm zusammen, das öffentlich präsentiert wird.
Voraussetzung zur Teilnahme ist die Bereitschaft zur ausführlichen Beschäftigung mit Brecht und zur intensiven Probenarbeit.
