Das Forschungsmodul ermöglicht Studierenden aus Master-Studiengängen vertiefende Einblicke in das Forschungsumfeld des Lehrstuhls. Jeder Studierende erhält ein eigenes Thema zur Bearbeitung und wird individuell betreut. Die Studierenden sollen in diesem Forschungsmodul an das selbstständige, wissenschaftliche Arbeiten herangeführt werden und die dafür nötigen Techniken erlernen. Die zu bearbeitenden Themen stammen aus dem Bereich der funktionellen Genomanalyse bei Bakterien, dem zentralen und Baustoff-Stoffwechsel der Bakterien und der angewandten Mikrobiologie. Für diese Veranstaltung findet keine Vorbesprechung statt. Themen und Termine (auch außerhalb der Vorlesungszeit) werden individuell vereinbart.
