250249 Das Subjekt – nur ein diskursiver Effekt? Eine Einführung in Subjekttheorien in den Erziehungs- und Bildungswissenschaften (S) (SoSe 2016)

Kaum ein Begriff ist für das Selbstverständnis der Pädagogik so bedeutsam wie der des Subjekts. Das Subjekt kann ohne Übertreibung als eine der zentralen Kategorien pädagogischer Theorie und Praxis angesehen werden. Seit der Moderne gilt der Mensch als autonomes, handlungsfähiges und souveränes Subjekt. Dabei wird er sowohl als Ausgangspunkt als auch als Ziel von Erziehungs- und Bildungsprozessen angesehen. Doch spätestens seit der Postmoderne hat dieses Subjektmodell Risse bekommen und wurde immer stärker in Frage gestellt. Die sogenannten Poststrukturalisten zweifeln an der Selbstbestimmung und der Handlungsmacht des Subjekts.
Die pädagogische Leitidee vom Menschen als Subjekt kann vor dem Hintergrund dieser Subjektkritik nicht unberührt bleiben. Daher werden wir uns in diesem Seminar mit unterschiedlichen Subjekttheorien beschäftigen. Es werden sowohl Subjektkonzeptionen der Moderne vorgestellt als auch zeitgenössische Ansätze, die sich kritisch mit modernen Subjektvorstellungen auseinandersetzen.
Dieses Seminar ist als eine Einführungsveranstaltung gedacht, in der gleichwohl Interesse an theoretischen Analysen und Diskussionen vorausgesetzt wird.
