Die Veranstaltung führt in die wissenschaftliche Psychologie ein. Das Ziel ist, das Selbstverständnis der Psychologie in Bezug auf ihre Aufgaben und Aufgabenteilung transparent zu machen und die aktuelle Psychologie historisch aus aus ihren wichtigen Strömungen zu entwickeln.

Die Vorlesung richtet sich an Studienanfänger/innen des B.Sc. Studiums Psychologie (Kern- und Nebenfach) der Universität Bielefeld. Der Leistungspunkterwerb ist nur für diese Gruppe möglich.
