230344 Writing (S) (SoSe 2016)

Contents, comment

The goal of this course is to ensure that students are able to express themselves clearly, coherently, correctly and in an appropriate style in written English in a variety of academic text types (such as summaries, academic papers, essays). In the seminar, students will be given the opportunity to extend and consolidate their writing skills through regular and intensive writing tasks. They will be able to develop their control of grammatical structures and the scope and appropriateness of their lexical resources in a range of communicative contexts, and to reflect together and individually on the writing process.
