Offene Vortrags- und Diskussionsreihe der Fakultät für Biologie mit Themen zur aktuellen lokalen bis globalen Umweltproblematik. Die Vorträge mit ausführlicher Diskussion sind aber nicht nur für Studierende der Biologie, sondern auch für die anderer Fachrichtungen gedacht. Sie sollen auch interessierte Bürger und Laien sowie Verantwortliche in Planungs- und Verwaltungsstellen der verschiedensten Behörden ansprechen. Ankündigungen erfolgen über Presse, Plakate und in Schulen und über die Mitveranstalter: Naturwissenschaftlicher Verein für Bielefeld und Umgegend sowie Westfälisch-Lippische Universitätsgesellschaft.
