Das Café bietet dir die Möglichkeit, in gemütlicher Atmosphäre und motivierender Gesellschaft mit anderen Studierenden, aber gleichzeitig konzentriert für dich zu lesen. Such dir eine gemütliche Leseecke oder tausch dich mit anderen Studierenden und unseren Trainer*innen vom SKILLS-Team bei einer Tasse Kaffee, Tee und kleinen Snacks über Lesegewohnheiten, -orte und -erfolge aus. Wir stehen dir mit Tipps zum Lesen wissenschaftlicher Texte zur Seite und freuen uns, wenn du deine eigenen Strategien mit uns teilst – denn jede*r geht mit (zähen) Texten anders um. Und in unserem unterhaltsamen Rahmenprogramm, u.a. mit einem Book-Slam, kannst du dir weitere Anregungen und Motivationsschübe holen.

Das Lesecafé richtet sich an Studierenden aller Fachrichtungen und Studienphasen. Du kannst den ganzen Tag oder nur kurz bleiben und jederzeit dazukommen.

Dein SKILLS-TeamThe Reading Café takes place in the SSC rooms and offers you the opportunity to read your seminar texts or literature for your next major project together with other students in a cozy working atmosphere. Snacks are provided, and if you like, you are welcome to chat with our trainers from the SKILLS team over a cup of coffee or tea. We are here to help you with strategies and methods for reading academic texts and would love to hear about your own strategies—because everyone deals with (difficult) texts differently.
The reading café is open to students from all disciplines. You can stay all day or just drop in for a short while at any time.
