In der Veranstaltung werden ausgewaehlte Themen aus der Stochastik behandelt, dabei sollen insbesondere neben kulturhistorischen auch Aspekte der Modellbildung und Anwendungen der Stochastik in anderen Wissenschaften (z.B. in der Genetik) behandelt werden.
