Die Veranstaltung zieht einen Bogen von einer theoretischen Sicht der Information bis zu einer sehr praxisorientierten, wie ein BA-Abschluss es fordert.
Der Dozent des ersten Drittels der Veranstaltung kommt aus der VWL-Theorie, der der weiteren beiden Drittel ist Wirtschaftsinformatiker.
Die Vorlesung ist für das Abschlusssemester des BA-Studienganges Wiwi neu konzipiert. Zu den Betrieblichen Anwendungssystemen werden die beiden Kapitel 7 und 8 des Buches [Spitta 2006] zu Grunde gelegt. Mindestvoraussetzung ist eine gute Beherrschung des Stoffes des Kapitels 5 (s. Vorkenntnisse oben). Wahrscheinlich wird nach dem Überblick über AWS eine umfassende betriebswirtschaftliche Fallstudie behandelt.
