In Anlehnung an die aktuellen Lehrpläne erhalten Sie in dieser Veranstaltung zunächst einen Überblick über die Inhalte und Kompetenzerwartungen in der Grundschule sowie der Sekundarstufe I. Die folgenden Sitzungen werden sich mit ausgewählten Thematiken aus verschiedenen Jahrgangsstufen sowohl der Grundschule als auch der Sekundarstufe I beschäftigen.

Von Ihnen wird als aktive Teilnahme erwartet, dass Sie in einer Gruppe einen Themenschwerpunkt für das Seminar vorbereiten und dort vorstellen. Inhalt der Präsentation wird zum Einen eine kurze Schulbuchanalyse (möglichst mit Materialvorstellung) sein, mit der Sie Ihre Mitstudierenden u.a. in das Thema eingeführen. Zum Anderen werden Sie aus der Arbeit mit einem Kind des entsprechenden Jahrgangsstufe mögliche Fehler sowie Hilfs-/ Förderempfehlungen aus der Literatur vorstellen und mit dem Seminar diskutieren.

Die Verlegung eines Seminartermines oder eines Miniblockes von Terminen der wöchentlich stattfindenden Veranstaltung an die Geschwister-Scholl-Schule nach Gütersloh ist bei Interesse möglich, um dort die Thematik "Software - Fehler und Schwierigkeiten" zu erarbeiten. Dieses wird in der ersten Seminarsitzung verbindlich festgelegt werden.
