Techniques for locating information items, and the presentation of
these using different media will be the focus of this course.
There will be three basic blocks:
1. How and where can information be located given a topic? Is the
information source trustworthy?
2. How can this information be organised?
3. How can this be presented in different situations, i.e. classroom
presentations, papers, talks, etc., using different media for
presentation purposes.
Though the practical side of this will be a major focus, including the
creation of slide presentations with electronic applications, more
theoretical issues of presentations and different presentation styles
will be covered as well.
