Je nach Notwendigkeit werden die wichtigsten wissenschaftlichen Methoden und Techniken der Linguistik wiederholt und in einen individuellen Bezug zu den verschiedenen Masterprojekten gestellt. Auf diese Art und Weise werden parallel zum Kursverlauf die jeweiligen Projekte methodisch strukturiert und geplant. Die folgenden Themen werden voraussichtlich behandelt:
- Qualitative empirische Methoden
- Quantitative empirische Methoden
- Korpuserstellung und -annotation
- Argumentationslehre und Schlussverfahren
- Gütekriterien für wissenschaftliches Arbeiten
- Methoden wissenschaftlicher Recherche
- Methoden wissenschaftlichen Schreibens
- Textverarbeitungs- und Bibliographiesoftware zum Abfassen längerer wissenschaftlicher Texte (Word, Citavi, Latex/Bibtex, Mendeley)
- Planbarkeit wissenschaftlicher Projekte und VeröffentlichungsstrategienDiese Themen können in Absprache mit den Kursteilnehmerinnen und -teilnehmern ergänzt oder angepasst werden.
Notwendige (Teilnahme-)Voraussetzungen (siehe FsB), empfohlene VorkenntnisseMündliche Präsentation und schriftliche Ausarbeitung der methodischen Herangehensweise des MA-Projekts.

Zu Kursbeginn muss bereits eine Ideenskizze für ein MA-Projekt vorliegen und mit einem Betreuer/einer Betreuerin abgesprochen worden sein.
