In this course on the evolution of animal behaviour we teach the basics of evolutionary biology, and how science works in general. In order to start working on these topics and deepen their knowledge of these topics, the attending students will read and analyze selected manuscript regarding their research question, structure, the methodological design used, the way the data are presented and what can be learned from each study. On regular occasions, the students have either to present their views in a short talk or they have to submit short texts about their analyses. On the last day of the course, we will schedule oral examinations covering the whole content of our course.
