220084 Wissenschaftliches Propädeutikum zum Grundkurs II (S) (SoSe 2026)

Ein Propädeutikum ist eine Veranstaltungsform, die einen vorbereitenden Charakter hat. In diesem Sinne werden wir uns mit der Geschichte des Faches, der Kunstgeschichte und ihrer Entwicklung zur Bildwissenschaft, beschäftigen. Daneben klären wir Begriffe wie Mimesis, Repräsentation, Paragone etc. Einen breiten Teil nehmen erste Einführungen in die Architektur, Skulptur, bildwissenschaftliche Theorie, das Dispositiv Künstler*in sowie verschiedene "Turns" und "Studies" ein. Gegen Ende des Seminars sprechen wir über das wissenschaftliche Arbeiten und schauen mit Texten von Freud oder Lacan über die Grenzen der Fachdisziplin. Einen gemeinsamen Ausstellungsbesuch werden wir ebenfalls zur Reflexion von Ausstellungsformen unternehmen.
Der Besuch des Propädeutikums ist obligatorisch zur Lehrveranstaltung von Prof. Dr. Helga Lutz.
