Ziele und Inhalt:
Dieser Kurs ist Bestandteil des Basismoduls "Computerlinguistik und Sprachtechnologie" im Masterstudiengang Linguistik. Der Kurs kann ebenfalls von Studierenden des BA "Kognitive Informatik" und des MA "Interdisziplinäre Medienwissenschaft" besucht werden.
Ziel des Kurses ist die Darstellung von
- Prinzipien computerlinguistischen Arbeitens
- Modellierung im Bereich der Syntaxanalyse (Parsing)
- Modellierungen im Bereich der Wissensrepräsentation
Dazu werden auch Modelle als "Mikro"-Versionen vorgestellt, die zu den Meilensteinen der Computerlinguistik gehören (z.B. SAM, SHRDLU). Gleichzeitig werden Fertigkeiten im Umgang mit konkreten Implementierungen einzelner Modelle vermittelt.
Voraussetzungen:
Kenntnisse aus dem BA-Curriculum zu logischen und algebraischen Methoden der Linguistik, Syntax und Semantik, Programmierung.
Teilnahme an den anderen beiden Kursen des Moduls "Computerlinguistik und Sprachtechnologie" sowie "Repräsentation sprachlichen Wissens".
