230317 Literatur aus dem Gefängnis (S) (SoSe 2026)

Contents, comment

Immer wieder wurden Schriftsteller*innen im Laufe ihres Lebens verhaftet. Andere wurden im Zuge einer Haftstrafe zu Schriftsteller*innen. Das Seminar soll sich Texten widmen, die im Gefängnis entstanden sind und die von der Haftstrafe erzählen oder die Bedingungen der Haft in lyrischen Texten reflektieren. Wir werden unter anderem danach fragen, wie das Gefängnis und die Haftbedingungen dargestellt werden, wie Insassen und Mitarbeiter*innen beschrieben werden, warum Menschen im Gefängnis überhaupt schreiben und wie Verbrechen und Strafe thematisiert werden.

Requirements for participation, required level

Kenntnisse der Erzähltext- und Lyrikanalyse sind hilfreich, aber keine notwendige Teilnahmevoraussetzung

Bibliography

Im Seminar werden wir Texte von Ernst Toller, Emmy Ball-Hennings, Peter-Paul Zahl, Marianne Herzog und anderen lesen. Details zum Seminarprogramm werden in der ersten Seminarsitzung besprochen.
