230136 Dramentheorie und Dramenanalyse (S) (SoSe 2026)

Neben Lyrik und Prosa bildet das Drama die dritte zentrale literarische Großgattung – mit einer ebenso langen wie vielgestaltigen Tradition. Im Fokus dieses Seminars stehen Geschichte, Medialität und Theorie des Dramas in der (deutschsprachigen) Literatur sowie grundlegende Methoden und Perspektiven der Dramenanalyse. Dabei schlagen wir anhand exemplarischer Texte einen Bogen von den Anfängen des Theaters über klassische und moderne Ausprägungen bis hin zu (post-)modernen und zeitgenössischen Formen dramatischen Erzählens. Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt liegt dabei auf der Tragikomödie, die als (vermeintliche) Mischform Tragödie und Komödie miteinander verschränkt.

Hinweise zu Literatur und Studienleistung werden in der ersten Sitzung bekanntgegeben; erwartet wird die regelmäßige Teilnahme an den Seminardiskussionen und die Bereitschaft zu regelmäßiger, intensiver Textlektüre.
