Das Masterkolloquium findet parallel zur Masterarbeit statt.
Die Grundlagen des wissenschaftlichen Arbeitens sowie der quantitativen empirischen Forschung werden vertieft. Die vorhandenen Kenntnisse in SPSS werden wiederholt und erweitert. Als Basis für die eigene wissenschaftliche Arbeit werden gemeinsam Daten erhoben und anschließend mittels SPSS ausgewertet.
In der Masterarbeit wird ein eigenes Forschungsmodell quantitativ empirisch untersucht. In diesem werden in der Regel direkte Zusammenhänge sowie mediierende und moderierende Effekte untersucht. Die Themenvergabe erfolgt teilstrukturiert. Während des Kolloquiums präsentieren die Studierenden zweimal den aktuellen Stand ihrer Arbeit.
