Dieses Seminar, das richtigerweise Textvorerschließung, Textübersetzung und Textinterpretation im modernen Lateinunterricht heißen müsste, rückt das essentielle Medium des Lateinunterrichts in den Mittelpunkt: den lateinischen Text, sowohl in der Variante eines Lehrbuchtextes als auch in der Form eines antiken Schriftstücks.
Unser Zugriff soll ein didaktisch-methodischer sein, indem wir untersuchen, wie die oben genannten Schriftstücke den Schülerinnen und Schülern zugänglich gemacht werden können, um sie im Sinne der historischen Kommunikation nutzbar zu machen. Dabei werden Theorie und Praxis eng verzahnt sein, sodass die Studierenden sich nicht nur "guten Unterricht" anlesen, sondern auch selbst forschend aktiv werden.
