Vögel sind eine gut untersuchte Tiergruppe, an der viele allgemeine biologische Sachverhalte untersucht und erarbeitet werden können. In dieser Veranstaltung sollen durch Vorträge, Untersuchungen und Experimente Kenntnisse zu u.a. folgenden Themen erarbeitet werden: Anatomie und Morphologie, Abstammung und Systematik, Entwicklung, Vogelflug, Ökologie und spezielle Aspekte des Verhaltens.
