  • (Neuro)psychiatrische Symptome im Alter sind häufig wegweisend für hirnorganische Erkrankungen. Auf diesen Zusammenhang wird hingewiesen.
  • Affektive (zu \"leise\"), kognitive und verhaltensbezogene (zu \"laut\") Symptome bedingen sich bei älteren Menschen häufig gegenseitig. Auf diesen Zusammenhang wird hingewiesen.
  • Depressionen im Alter: Altersadäquate Therapieansätze werden vorgestellt, mit besonderem Fokus auf Schlafstörungen.
  • Depressionen im Alter: Die Elektrokonvulsionstherapie ist bei älteren Patient:innen besonders wirksam. Diese Therapieform wird vorgestellt.
  • Demenzen: Aktuelle Entwicklungen zur Therapie der Alzheimererkrankung werden vertieft.
  • Demenzen: Verhaltensauffälligkeiten bei fortgeschrittener Demenz belasten die Betroffenen und ihr Umfeld. Wie kann man dieser begegnen?
