Das Seminar behandelt professionsbezogene Theorien einschlägiger empirischer Studien sowie die Begriffs-, Modell- und Theoriebildung und die Erläuterung von deren Systematik und Struktur im Kontext des fachlichen Diskurses. Erarbeitet werden professionstheoretische Kontexte hinsichtlich ihrer gesellschaftlichen, sozialpolitischen und pädagogischen Bedeutung und Reichweite. Es werden Professionalität und Handlungskompetenz aus unterschiedlichen Perspektiven beleuchtet und im Gesamtkontext des späteren Arbeitsfeldes verortet.
