Das Seminar soll einen tieferen Einblick in die Funktionsweise und Bedeutung des auditiven Systems bieten. Dabei werden neben Grundlagen der auditiven Wahrnehmung ausgewählte Themen wie neuronale Korrelate von Sprache und musikalische Wahrnehmung schwerpunktmäßig behandelt. Darüberhinaus sollen klinische Aspekte wie Cochlea-Implantate und Tinnitus das Themenfeld erweitern und zu einem Gesamtverständnis auditiver Prozesse und ihrer Bedeutung beitragen.

Das Seminar richtet sich an Master of Science Hauptfachstudierende der Psychologie, die bereits ein Bachelor of Science in Psychologie oder Klinischer Linguistik haben.
