This student-led study group will explore migration and migrants in the US through literature, music, films or series, and through social research, focusing on how migration shapes identity, belonging and language. It will also consider the implications of the changes to US immigration system and the status of migrants under the current administration. Participants will engage in group discussions and analyse songs, films or other media and prepare group presentations based on these materials.
