Für den Professionalisierungsprozess von angehenden Lehrkräften ist es bedeutsam, sich mit dem Thema der Lehrergesundheit auseinanderzusetzen. In diesem Seminar sollen Studien zur Lehrergesundheit untersucht werden, die mit Themenbereichen des "guten" Unterrichts und einer veränderten Lernkultur im Zusammenhang stehen. Erkenntnisleitend sind die Fragen: Was ist überhaupt Gesundheit? und Was kann ich tun, um meine Gesundheit dauerhaft zu erhalten und "Tiefpunkte" zum Besseren zu wenden?

Sie sollten sich jedoch die Studie "Halbtagsjobber" von Uwe Schaarschmidt anschaffen, da sie einen Meilenstein in der Lehrergesundheitsforschung darstellt und sie diese auch im Berufsleben immer wieder heranziehen können.
