Das Seminar behandelt ausgewählte Probleme der deutschen Syntax wie die Faktoren, die Wortstellung im Mittelfeld des Satzes bedingen, (in-)kohärente Infinitivkonstruktionen, diverse Bewegungstransformationen wie Fragesatzbildung aus Nebensätzen und Relativsatzbildung, sog. parasitäre Lücken und resumptive Pronomina. Dabei geht es stets auch darum, interessante theoretische Ansätze im Hinblick auf ihre empirische Angemessenheit kritisch zu beleuchten.
