Die Veranstaltung führt in die germanistische Linguistik ein und richtet sich an Studierende der Sprachlichen Grundbildung sowie an solche des Didaktischen Grundlagenstudiums.
In der Vorlesung soll ein Einblick in wichtige Arbeitsgebiete der Sprachwissenschaft gegeben und Grundlagenwissen zu den unterschiedlichen Strukturebenen der deutschen Sprache vermittelt werden. Dies alles geschieht mit einem Blick auf den Nutzen dieser Wissensgebiete als Fundament für die sprachdidaktische Praxis. Allesdings versteht sich die Vorlesung explizit als eine fachwissenschaftlich ausgerichtete Einführung.
Der genaue inhaltliche Aufbau und die der Veranstaltung zugrunde gelegte Literatur werden in der ersten Sitzung bekannt gegeben.
