230147 Gedichte Goethes - Exemplarische Lektüren (S) (WiSe 2015/2016)

Im Seminar werden ausgewählte Gedichte aus Goethes gesamter Schaffenszeit intensiv diskutiert und analysiert. Dabei wird der Schwerpunkt auf den kanonisierten, den sogenannten 'großen' Gedichten liegen, die auch vielfach in Anthologien und Übersichten eingegangen sind und mit denen sich die Forschung vielfältig beschäftigt hat. Begründen muss man die Besprechung von Goethe-Gedichten wohl (noch) nicht.
Die Auswahl wird nicht sehr umfangreich sein, vielmehr wird den einzelnen Texten viel Zeit und Interpretationsraum gewidmet. Insofern ist es kein Epochenseminar! Am Ende sollen die Teilnehmer einen exemplarischen, aber gründlichen Eindruck von einigen der berühmtesten Gedichte in deutscher Sprache haben. Das ist der (un-)bescheidene Anspruch.

Anschaffung der Texte; Vorbereitung der Texte; Diskussionsbereitschaft
Kenntnisse der Lyrikanalyse sind hilfreich, werden aber nicht zwingend vorausgesetzt

Die Gedichte Goethes sind in zahllosen Ausgaben zugänglich. Sehr zu empfehlen ist die zweibändige Ausgabe sämtlicher Gedichte, die auf der Ausgabe des Klassiker-Verlages basiert und die man für knapp 20 Euro erhalten kann.
