Das Seminar widmet sich überblickshaft der neueren deutschsprachigen Lyrik und der Geschichte des Nachdenkens über sie. Der klassischen Frage "Wie interpretiere ich ein Gedicht?" sollen in diesem Seminar andere Leitfragen zur Seite gestellt werden, die der Analyse Struktur geben: Was sind die typischen Eigenschaften lyrischer Texte? Welche theoretischen Perspektiven auf Lyrik kann man einnehmen? Welchem historischen Wandel ist eine Gattung wie Lyrik unterworfen? Dazu werden exemplarisch Gedichte und theoretische Texte behandelt. Literatur wird in der ersten Sitzung bekannt gegeben.
