In diesem Seminar sollen insbesondere Befunde der Pisa-Studien zu Lesekompetenz und Lesemotivation, mathematischer und naturwissenschaftlicher Kompetenz, Problemlösen sowie zu lernbezogenen Einstellungen und Lernverhalten vorgestellt werden. Darüber hinaus werden Befunde zu Geschlechtsunterschieden sowie zur Bedeutung der sozialen Herkunft besprochen und vor dem Hintergrund aktueller Debatten über Reformen im Bildungswesen diskutiert.
