PubMed ist eine wichtige Suchmaschine für die Medizin, die Gesundheitswissenschaften und verwandte Disziplinen wie die Biologie. Sie ermöglicht die Suche nach aus der Datenbank MEDLINE und weiteren Ressourcen stammender Literatur. Weitere Informationen zu PubMed.
In dieser Schulung werden grundlegende Funktionen (wie Standardsuche, erweiterte Suche, Filter- und Sortiermöglichkeiten) von PubMed vorgestellt.
Darüber hinaus werden allgemeine Tipps zur Literatursuche vermittelt, wie man geeignete Suchbegriffe findet, eine Suchmatrix erstellt, wie boolesche Operatoren (AND, OR) und Klammern bei der Literaturrecherche sinnvoll eingesetzt werden, um relevante Literatur zu finden.
Diese Schulung wird im Wintersemester auf Deutsch und im Sommersemester auf Englisch angeboten.
