This class is devoted to the discussion of classic and current texts on the theory and history of energy in modern societies. The texts will be selected following the preferences of participants.
The class is accompanied by a methods class, which will take doctoral researchers' individual projects as a starting point and discuss methodological issues in the history and theory of energy from this vantage point.
The two classes are closely entwined but can also be taken separately. They will be taught in either English or German, depending on the participants' preferences.
