In diesem Seminar erhalten Studierende eine grundlegende und praxisnahe Einführung in das wissenschaftliche Arbeiten im erziehungswissenschaftlichen Studium. Thematisiert werden zentrale Arbeitstechniken wie das Lesen und Verstehen wissenschaftlicher Texte, der Umgang mit Literatur, das Formulieren von Forschungsfragen sowie Grundlagen des Zitierens und wissenschaftlichen Schreibens. Dabei werden auch Fragen der Studienorganisation, des Umgangs mit Leistungsanforderungen und der Einbindung in verschiedene Lebensrealitäten (z. B. Care- oder Erwerbsarbeit) aufgegriffen. Ziel ist es, einen reflektierten Einstieg in das wissenschaftliche Arbeiten zu ermöglichen und Sicherheit im Umgang mit zentralen Anforderungen des Studiums zu vermitteln.
