Within the colloquium researchers from within the ZeSt as well as external guests present their research results. This provides a first impression on the current topics of research to the students.
The dates, speakers and titles can be found at:
https://www.uni-bielefeld.de/einrichtungen/zest/kolloquium-des-zest/aktuelle-vortrage/In order to obtain the Studienleistung students compile a short (2-3 pages) summary of one attended talk. The summary shall contain a short summary of the content as well as a personal appreciation of the talk both in terms of content and in terms of presentation form. The second part explicitly shall contain own ideas of the students on the research topic or of the presentation itself respectively.
ATTENTION: This course is not for students wanting credits within the module 31-SW-AKStat or for PhD students with profile "Data Science". These need to choose "Research in Statistical Science".
The reports are to be submitted by March 30, 2026 by uploading the pdf in the Lernraum.
