Im Forschungsmodul I der AG Pflanzenbiotechnologie werden Signalwege unter Stress in Arabidopsis und Gertreidearten untersucht. Der Schwerpunkt liegt hierbei auf Überflutungsstress (Hypoxie) und Salzstress. Für die funktionelle Charakterisierung ausgewählter Signalproteine kommen verschiedene molekularbiologische und biochemische Techniken zum Einsatz.
