Das Fallstudienseminar "Individuelle Förderung von Schülerinnen und Schülern" ist ein über zwei Semester (=4 SWS, 6 LP) hinweg zu belegendes Seminar, in dessen Rahmen die Anfertigung einer Fallstudie in einer Schule vorbereitet und begleitet wird.

In diesem Seminar geht es um die individuelle Förderung von Schülerinnen und Schülern zum Schwerpunkt "Aufbau von Lesekompetenz", der für alle Fächer relevant ist. Neben den im Seminar bearbeiteten theoretischen Grundlagen, wird es wöchentlich einen Praxisanteil in der Schule (Primarstufe und Sek. I) geben. Diese Tätigkeit ist eingebunden in ein Projekt der Stadt Bielefeld, der Universität, der Bürgerstiftung und des Vereins TABULA e.V. zur Reduzierung der sozial bedingten Chancenungleichheit im Bildungsbereich.
