Das Seminar beschäftigt sich mit Interaktionssituationen, in denen das Verhältnis der Interaktionsbeteiligten auf verschiedene Weisen asymmetrisch ist (institutionell vorstrukturierte Beteiligungsrollen, ungleiche Wissensressourcen etc.). Hierzu werden verschiedene konversationsanalytische und interdisziplinäre Ansätze und Perspektiven vermittelt. Begriffe wie Macht und Dominanz und ihre Anwendbarkeit auf kommunikationsanalytische Fragestellungen werden diskutiert. Der Umgang der Interaktionsbeteiligten mit bestehenden oder wahrgenommenen Ungleichheiten wird aufgezeigt.
