230106 Central Concepts and Competences in English Language Teaching (Secondary School) II (S) (WiSe 2025/2026)

Contents, comment

During this course, we will have a look at basic approaches to teaching English language competences in the familiar fields of grammar, vocabulary, reading, listening, speaking and writing. We will also broaden the view to approaches concerned with literature, inclusive teaching as well as assessment. All through the course, we will combine theoretical input with reflections / discussions as well as practical work on task design and lesson planning.

If you study under the 'new' FsB (15.11.2023; enrolment from summer semester 2023 onwards), please note the following:
Vor dem Besuch der Veranstaltungen in den Profilmodulen muss der Language Proficiency Test (23-ANG-Basis1) bestanden sein. Im Master of Education gilt diese Voraussetzung mit dem erfolgreichen Masterzugang als erbracht.
