Die Lehrveranstaltung bietet zum einen eine Einführung in die Lebenslaufsoziologie. Was machen Menschen wann in ihrem Leben. Gibt es hier typische zeitliche Ablaufmuster? Und wie lassen sich diese erklären? Zum anderen greift Sie Fragen nach intra- und intergenrationaler Mobilität auf. Wie lässt sich soziale Mobilität, als gesellschaftliche Auf- oder Abstiege, im Lebenslauf beschreiben und erklären? Welche sozialen Ungleichheiten in sozialer Mobilität zeigen sich beispielsweise nach sozialer Herkunft oder Geschlecht?
