300290 How to get started: Field access, field relations and sampling in qualitative research (MC: Soziologische Methoden - qualitativ) (S) (WiSe 2026/2027)

Contents, comment

This method class discusses issues of field access and sampling in qualitative research. In doing so, the class primarily addresses those doctoral students who are at the beginning of their field research and who are working on their access to the field. We’ll discuss in detail the access to the field, the relationship with the field, and the sampling procedure.

This method class has an emphasis on ethnography, but all methods are welcome.
