Im Judokurs erlernst du über verschiedene methodische Zugänge unter Berücksichtigung des Kernplans NRW und des Sicherheitserlasses, wie du Zweikampf- und Gruppenspiele anleitest und Judoinhalte im Schulsportvermittelst. Zudem werden Vor- und Nachteile unterschiedlicher Vermittlungansätze gegenüber gestellt. Des Weiteren werden gängige Erwärmungsarten und Spielformen auf den Judosport übertragen. Grundvoraussetzungen sind geschnittene Fuß- und Fingernägel, Reis feste sowie metall- und plastikfreie Kleidung und das Abnehmen beziehungsweise Abkleben jeglichen Körperschmucks.

Als Studienleistung ist eine aktive Teilnahme an mind. 80% der Sitzungen notwendig. Die Studierenden werden außerdem als Teil der Studienleistung kurze Teile der didaktisch-methodischen Stundengestaltung übernehmen und theoriebasiert zu reflektieren.
In diesem Kurs kann eine lehrpraktische (NUR STUDIENBEGINN BIS SS 23) und eine fachpraktische Prüfung sowie eine Klausur (NUR FÜR GYMGE-DM-3) absolviert werden. Die lehrpraktischen Prüfungen werden in dem Kurs während des Semesters, die fachpraktische Prüfung in dem Kurs beim letzten Kurstermin abgenommen. Für die lehrpraktischen Prüfungen ist im Voraus ein Unterrichtsentwurf innerhalb von einer Frist von 14 Tagen anzufertigen.
