In dieser Veranstaltung werden zwei Themenschwerpunkte behandelt: Das Thema Humanbiologie wird schulbezogen behandelt, und es werden schulrelevante Experimente zu verschiedenen Teilgebieten der Humanbiologie ausprobiert und bewertet.
Zudem werden verschiedene Aspekte der heimischen Fauna beleuchtet. Es werden Kenntnisse einheimischer Lebensräume und heimischer Tierarten vermittelt. Der Schwerpunkt liegt auf Lebensräumen mit Schulrelevanz, wie Lebensraum Teich, Wald, Wiese. Taxonomische (Insekten, Vögel) und ökologische (Bestäubung, Herbivoren) Themen können nach Interesse der Studierenden vertieft werden.
