261031 Das Herz der Menschenrechte (GradS) (SoSe 2015)

"The Heart of Human Rights" ist der Titel des kürzlich erschienenen Buches des amerikanischen Philosophen Allen Buchanan zur Ethik der Menschenrechte. Buchanan gibt dieses Jahr vom 17. bis 19. Juni den sogenannten „Pfingstkurs“ der Abteilung Philosophie. Darin wird er unter anderem auch über Inhalte des Buches sprechen. In dem Master-Seminar soll dieses Gespräch durch eine gemeinsame Lektüre des Buches gezielt vorbereitet werden. Voraussetzung für die Teilnahme ist die Bereitschaft, Teile des englischsprachigen Buches (das insgesamt etwa 300 Seiten hat) bis zum Pfingstkurs durchzuarbeiten und am Pfingstkurs selbst aktiv teilzunehmen. Im verbleibenden Teil des Semesters werden wir dann ausgewählte Themen des Buches weiter vertiefen.

Das Seminar ist auch für fortgeschrittene Bachelor-Studierende nach Anmeldung via Email geöffnet.
